Since September 26, 2019, Husada Mahakam: Journal of Health has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in accordance with Decree Number: 28 / E / KPT / 2019 with rank Sinta4. Accreditation is valid for 5 (five) years from Volume 8 Number 1 of 2018 to Volume 12 Number 1 of 2022.
Husada Mahakam: Jurnal Kesehatan contains Scientific Work in Health Sciences (nursing, public health, midwifery, medical laboratory technology, and other health professions). This journal contains articles from research, critical analytical studies in the field of public health (Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, Reproductive Health, Public Health Nutrition, Administration and Health Policy, Occupational Safety Health); Nursing (Pediatric Nursing, Surgical Medical Nursing, Psyciatric Nursing, Maternal Nursing, Nursing Management and Community Nursing); Medical Laboratory Technic; and other health-related scopes. This journal was published twice a year in May and November by the Poltekkes Kemenkes Kalimantan Timur in Samarinda since 2007 (listed in print version 1978-8355), since 2015 Husada Mahakam: Jurnal Kesehatan published an online version of the journal (issn: 2461- 0402).
