HUBUNGAN KONSEP DIRI DENGAN PERILAKU BULLYING PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
Abstract
Bullying behavior is a form of juvenile delinquency caused by psychosocial development disorders, namely the behavior of teenagers who like to break rules, isolate groups, insult, and ridicule. The research objective was to determine the characteristics of the respondents, self-concept, and bullying behavior as well as the relationship between self-concept and bullying behavior. This type of quantitative research with cross sectional method. The proportional stratified random sampling sample consisted of 97 respondents. The results showed that adolescents with a negative self-concept of 52.6%, high bullying behavior of 47.4%. p = 2.603 × 10-11 <0.05 means that there is a significant relationship between self-concept and bullying behavior in class VII students at SMP Negeri 32 Samarinda with r = -0.613 which means a strong relationship and a negative relationship. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-concept and bullying behavior in class VII students at SMP Negeri 32 Samarinda.
